EUROPEAN COMMISSION PROPOSAL FOR A REVISED URBAN WASTEWATER TREATMENT DIRECTIVE

The European Parliament’s rapporteur for revising the Urban WasteWater Directive, MEP Nils Torvalds (RENEW, Finland), has published his Draft Report containing amendments to the European Commission’s proposal to review the UWWTD. The amendments target the energy neutrality targets, implementation deadlines, extended producer responsibility and the application of thresholds.
