The 4th European Forum on the Regulation of Water Services (EFRWS25) will examine how European water regulation turns EU objectives on resilience, competitiveness and sustainability into practice—through tariff frameworks for resilience, performance benchmarking and KPIs, and extended producer responsibility (EPR). The programme features three consecutive panels dedicated to these themes.

EFRWS is the European Forum on the Regulation of Water Services.
It’s the first multi-stakeholder conference focused entirely on economic regulation in the drinking water and wastewater sector, currently in its 4th Edition.
The 3rd Forum, held in 2023 spotlighted EU Green Deal water reforms. The 2nd Forum, held in 2021, concentrated on the green transition and circular economy in the water sector. The inaugural Forum in 2019, in Rome, initiated discussions on water governance and sustainability.
